i love that you transformed the same sample j dilla used for "u-love". of course i prefer u-love more, and "donuts" as an album, it being one of my most played albums of all time and what not, but i think this was building upon what dilla did. similar to kanyes chipmunk sampling style, and i enjoy it a lot! using samples that other artists have used is a good way to sound like those artists you love and find your sample to flip. good song!

The mixing is def not "good" but I love when mixing is more drowned out and bassy instead of being clear and balanced. Very good but only nitpick is no slight beat switches but I'm guilty of that so it's alright

good but its a little bit messy but i like messy! sounds similar to an earl sweatshirt/mf doom beat but not as hard hitting and depressing

You know.... it's been 2 years since I reviewed this and I don't like it as much as before. The guitar feels very intruding and the electronic influences here aren't the greatest. I love the drums, but it's nothing to ride home about.
